JOB TITLE: FUNDI SANIFU DARAJA LA II (MITAMBO - AUTOMOBILE) - 22 POST
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Carrying out minor and major repairs of vehicles and machinery;
ii. Ensuring safety for employees and property at all times of operation;
iii. Storage and Maintenance of the equipment in which he or she works;
iv. Ensuring garage equipment and environment are clean at all times;
v. Conduct research, identify, prepare costs and fix vehicle problems and
vi. To perform the duties assigned to him by his Chief of Staff.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Have a Form Six education and graduate from a two-year vocational course in Vehicle / Mechanical Engineering from a Government-recognized college, or
• Must have a Form Four education and a three-year qualification in Vehicle / Mechanical Engineering from a Government-recognized college, or
• Have a Form Four education and a Technical Test Certificate Phase I (Trade Test I) in the field of Vehicle / Mechanical engineering from a Government recognized college;
• Have at least three (3) years' experience of repairing small and large vehicles / machinery in a registered garage / garage;
• Be hardworking, confident and able to work independently;
• Experienced in maintenance of modern vehicles / machinery will be given priority; and
• Ability to use “Auto Diagnostic Machine”.
