TAMISEMI, 6949 Teacher employment 2021: These are the criteria for teachers to be hired
The Minister of PMO-RALG Hon. Ummy Mwalimu, has stated that in recruiting teachers through the 6,949 advertised vacancies, the government will look into more criteria from volunteer teachers, despite the fact that some have submitted fake letters.
The statement was made yesterday , May 25, 2021, in Parliament Dodoma while answering a question from Longido MP Dr. Steven Kiruswa, who questioned the need for the government to employ teachers who volunteer in the same areas they are used to.
In addition, Minister Ummy added that the Ministry of PMO-RALG is in the process of considering hiring those qualified teachers first from 2012 to 2015 and they have not yet been hired before because they will lack the qualifications to be employed by the government as the teacher must be employed before the age of 45.
