The government has stated that from July this year, the Credit Board (HESLB) will cancel a 6 percent levy on protecting the value of money levied on higher education student loan beneficiaries.
The statement was issued, May 25, 2021, in Parliament Dodoma by the Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Technology Hon. Juma Omary Kipanga while answering a question from Mtambwe MP Hon. Khalifa Mohammed Issa questioned when the government would submit to Parliament a bill to change the law on higher education loans.
