Tanzania has the highest projected Gross Domestic Product (GDP) among 13 Eastern Africa countries. A new report by the African Development Bank(AFDB) outlines that Tanzania has surpassed Rwanda, Ethiopia and South Sudan.
Before COVID-19, Rwanda was the leading country by GDP, followed by South Sudan and Ethiopia.
